Hello there. So when I have my RAM in all four slots on the motherboard it will not POST. but when I take out two sticks and leave two in slots 1 and 3 (the ones right next to each other) my computer is about to boot and I can go to the BIOS and OS. Is anyone else having this problem? I called Gigabyte and they weren't much help.
My memory is crucial ballistix DDR3 1600 4x8gb 1.35v
Thanks for you help.

Hi,
I have recently purchased a GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 (rev 1.3). Also, I have bought a 2x4GB DDR3 1600 memory to go along with my build. The problem I have is when I put in both of my ram sticks in slot 1 & 2 or 3 & 4, I get a rebooting loop problem and never reach POST. I can put in a single stick of ram (either one) in slot 1 or 3 and the PC boots up fine. I have installed my OS this way.
I appreciate any suggestions on narrowing down the problem. Thanks.
I tried to:
- clear CMOS using the jumpers
- upgraded BIOS to F9
- disable XMP and enable XMP
- revert back to backup BIOS
